Our 6 mm Zirconium Oxide, Ceria Stabilized, Satellites Grinding are more irregular in shape than grinding balls, which is useful for processing harder-to-grind samples.  Unlike stainless steel, Zirconium Oxide Satellites will not corrode when exposed to solvents. 

Satellites are ready-to-use and have been treated to remove residual oils and contaminants prior to packaging. They may be used in 2 ml tubes, as well as 4 ml and 15 ml polycarbonate vials.
