Our 3 mm 440C Stainless Steel Grinding Balls are useful for homogenizing plant and animal tissues in 96 deep well plates. These 3 mm Grinding Balls can also be used with 4 ml, 15 ml and 50 ml polycarbonate vials, when appropriate. The 3 mm Grinding Balls are made of slightly magnetic stainless steel, allowing them to be retrieved with a magnet, while remaining resistant to corrosion.
All of our grinding balls have been treated to remove residual oils and contaminants and are ready-to-use.
These 3 mm Grinding Balls are compatible with the Qiagen TissueLyser bead dispenser.
