Utilizing a proprietary method to rapidly isolate high-quality RNA from plant tissue, the SYNERGY™ 2.0 RNA Extraction Kit's unique bead beating chemistry replaces RNA isolation procedures requiring harmful reagents. Each Homogenization Tube contains a grinding matrix which, in conjunction with the Plant Homogenization Buffer and dithiothreitol (DTT), liberates RNA, captures contaminants, and inactivates nucleases detrimental to RNA. Experimental data shows the yields of the SYNERGY™ 2.0 Plant RNA Extraction Kit is comparible in quality and quantity to other commercial kits and traditional CTAB protocols. The entire process takes approximately 40 minutes.
