The SYNERGY™ 3.0 MNP DNA Extraction Kit
uses CTAB chemistry in a unique process that rapidly isolates high-quality DNA from plant and/or bacterial samples without laborious procedures or dangerous chemicals like chloroform. A novel bead beating process helps to remove contaminants, with subsequent magnetic nanoparticle (MNP) used to capture DNA that can be done manually or by using automated processes. This kit combines the benefits of CTAB, the most widely used chemistry for plant nucleic acid isolations, with the ease of MNPs, thus eliminating the need for centrifugation.
